Ok, So I went back again to look at what was left. 75% is way better than 50%. I knew once it got down to the 75% there would be slim pickens. However, I think I was able to get a few nice prints. (yes some you have seen before) But with it being 75% off its kinda hard not to purchase more. This was all about $13.00. Cept the zippers are not on sale. Just the fabric.

Do I really want to confess to you how many times I went back? Oh my a few times. But not all the time did I buy fabric. Sometimes thread and paint was purchased. AND LOOK ZIPPERS. I needed those items. But then I would just pass the fabric, feel the fabric, smell the fabric.... and know that in a few days it will be all gone. SO a happy hoarding I went! Yards and Yards of hoarding. But HAPPY HOARDING!

Oh The party was just so MUCH fun. Sadie's first Birthday was a blast. SO when her mommy opened Sadie's handmade gifts from me.....SHE SQUEALED! I was so smiles. She loved her bag and zippy pouch. She says WOW I never heard of a Mommy getting presents on her child's birthday. (giggle) I made her this adorable dolly with pink hair. Which she just loved so much. I made her a pink haired dolly for her not too long ago. You may remember? Well She was in so much love with that dolly. She said I am almost tempted to keep the doll myself. I said I won't think bad of you if you do. HAHA! She didn't keep it. So I knew what she was "hoping" for? hehe

Sadie's mommy was really freaking out about this pink teddy bear. I told her it was not my pattern. (you too can make this bear, its a free download here) She told me her and her friends have been passing around magazines and they "found" this almost same style of bear in the magazine. She was really shocked at the price too it was about $50.00. She said. Hey, How did you know about these new creations? Then she said STRIKE that your a crafty sewer, OF COURSE you know about the softie revolution. (snicker, I do I do) All of her "go green" friends were just loving and OOOoooh and Ohhhing her (my) handmade goodies. YIPEEEE! (proud smile)

Just in case you wanted to know EVERYTHING tasted AWESOME! I got the blue on blue lolly pop. I took it and RAN out the door. (you gotta be quick when there are little kids and candy around)

I am going to my friend's daughters first Birthday! Its tomorrow and I am not finished with the gifts yet. Talk about crunch time. Oh my. I thought I would make the Mommy something for herself. She is really into hot pink lately so I thought I would surprise her with one of my totes and zippy bags. Shhh, don't tell her ok? I will post my other gifts as soon as I complete them. Yipee! Friday. Whew. I have been getting so much done lately around the house. With summer going into full effect around here, I have been on an endless search for some White inexpensive fun sunglasses to play with. I searched all spring. Finally I was able to grab two pairs and a hat. (all for 13 bucks) Why buy expensive glasses? I can't seem grasp why anyone would. There is too much fashion going on these days to save up all my funds for just one pair. Now I am ready to attack the daylight with style and fun.

Since we are talking about fashion for a second, I do not like those Roman style shoes that have made their way back into fashion. Remember them from the 80's? They should have stayed there. Icky. Someone Please shove those back in the closet.

They say for the picture purfect pout you should say PRUNES when they snap a pic of you. I was saying fish sticks cause I like them! Happy Friday!

I just finished these up today. I am making more, a bunch more.

Yep, I went back to Walmart. I could not take it. I was really surprised how little I spent. I kept stacking bolts and asking for yards. I mean they are going out of business in that fabric dept. So I thought I had to get back over there and hoard my fair share of fabric. I bought lots of yards. I was hogging all the good prints and I bought what was ever left on the bolts. That was nice to say. "I will take whats left on the bolt" (giggle) 50% off fabric hoarding is the best ever! All of the "measure by the yard trim" was also 50% off. I was looking for rick rack but they don't sell it by the yard. I was lucky enough to find some pom trim. I purchased the red and white. Funny the white was 18 cents. I know. 18 Cents for 3 and 1/2 yards. The red pom trim was 3.00 for 6 yards. She gave me the holders too. Those will come handy again. I think I am done?

How cute is that Cherry printed fabric? Its actually a premade top. I am going to sew a couple of things on it and then wear it on the Fourth Of July! I spent $3.94. Not bad huh? Wait till I am done with it. hehe

Hey, now when I get to some serious doll making I think I get to some serious doll making. I have just listed these cuties on my site. And one of them is already sold as I am making this post. Thats totally AWESOME but umm....WHY so fast? Why take the dolls from me so fast. You know I love them. And I have to LOVE on them some. I just can't let go. I have issues. SO SUE ME! As soon as I got closer to the section I KNEW SOMETHING WAS WRONG! Things all looking different. Shelves moved. Stuff is moved around a big ole sign saying Fabric 25% off. However really ITS 50% off (they forgot to change the sign, said the girl), They started clearing out the fabric last WEEK! Every week it will be cheaper and cheaper. However you know that is goes VERY FAST and nothing will be left when its down to the ends.

Its just not freaking fair. SURE I have 2 others I can go to. Eventually that one will be gone and then I will have one. ONE only and one is better than none. BUT REALLY only cause the Seminole Indians do we even have it. They got the OK to keep it. Seeing how they do much buisness with them. Which they do. And lucky for me they don't buy REPRODUCTION and homespuns lol However they buy TONS of EVERYTHING else INCLUDING my MUSLIN! But are they going to really keep that fabric section? Are they just lying to us and keeping up quiet till one day I walk in and see a FREAKING SIGN??

I mean really WHERE can you freaking find a 1.00 and 2.00 and 3.00 a yard?? GOOD FABRIC TOO! Ok sometimes the fabric is a bit eww kinda stiff or what not but the PRINT was so WORTH IT and it went well and sold well. Some of the stuff you just could not get enough of. SOme really juicy good homespuns. REMEMBER all THE GOOD stuff you use to be able to get. The mustards the red. OH THE RED. The brown the blue. Even the freaking CALICO fabric they had way back when was the bomb. They have some nice prints and colors. 2.00 a YARD!! Now....nothing and no more.

I went today and I grabbed a few things. I pretty much new this was coming and I have been buying YARDS of my favorites. Maybe a little too much buying. But this trip I spent about 13.00 bucks and only $8 was fabric.

I was walking thru the dept just shaking my head. I have been thru 3 rag shop closings. Ok 4 if you count the one I just ran into and ran out but spent a little cash. I went thru a MAJOR craft store closing. This place was replaced by home depot and they didnt have to expand the building thats HOW BIG this place was. They had every craft/hobby you could think of in there. And I went thru 3 walmart fabric close outs already. This one just kinda left me feeling empty and I had no energy to give an emotion until I got into the car. LOL I was like. FARK another one bites the dust!

Have you seen these in your antique stores? Oh well I am super jealous if you have. I have been looking all over. I never find them. I have taken these photos from some ebayers. (thanks for the photos) On Ebay these can run a nice penny. I am always in aw when the box is there. I noticed some came with sewing machine and some did not. I can't imagine how much these originally sold for. Does anyone know? Today they are very highly collectible. This would have been a perfect gift for me as a kid. Oh who am I kidding. This would be a perfect gift for me NOW! I adore them. I would of course play with mine.
