Primitive Raggedy Ann Dolls in Etsy

anniescupboards 3 9:47 AM
I have made a few dolls last week. I am
just now able to get proper photos of them
and show them off to you. I am listing them
in my Etsy shop today. This sleeping
annie will be made into a pattern. I am working on
3 patterns today.

The above doll and below doll will be a pattern.
I am making them into a set.
I am selling them separate on Etsy.

Over the weekend

anniescupboards 1 5:04 PM

My goal was to get Hubby to go to the record store
this weekend. I succeeded. I had to get my hands
on the newest creation of Danny Brito.
I drool over his talent. He was at the
Radio-Active Records Record Store Day.
Oh and I had no idea we had a record store locally.
So we will actually go back a few times.
I had to buy this tote in the photo.
I am going to use mine for lots of toting.
Even at the gym.

I purchased this Brito bag at Odd Duck 2012.

The cutie in the center photo below,
That is Danny.

Hubby was on a mission to find some records.
But it was really packed in there. I mean like
really packed. The place was very busy and the line
was wrapped around the store.
In one of the corners there was a band playing.

There was a ton of records to thumb.
Oh it was kinda amazing and brought me
back to the 1980's.
It was nice seeing stacks of vinyl.
I liked running my hands across the tops
of them. I missed that.
Pulling out a record and checking out the cover.
Seeing if the inside cover opened for bonus material, photos, anything.

I have been shopping for a record player.
Now hubby is on the hunt. New or old.
Get me one.

I have new Rag dolls coming tomorrow.

Thrift Store Shopping Sucess

I was able to find these two oval frames.
One of them does not have the cardboard.
I can make do one.
I just need to paint them.
I need to choose a color. I think Black.
I found a vintage glass worthy to take home.
I really like this mushroom print mixed with my ginger-ale.

How perfect are these vintage mushroom canisters.
They have no lids. I wanted them. I do not
have room to even store them.
They are perfect!
I found this original Bedazzler.
I have two already.
This one came with all the parts.
I bought it with a friend in mind. I checked
everything out to make sure it was all there
and worked and does. I have never seen them in
this orange and yellow color. This is a Ronco Model.

Today I am making a dress. I almost finished it.
I need another 2 yards of skirt. I even bought a
a bunch of fabric. I need more. I want a full skirt.
I seriously thought I had enough. Ugh.

How to Start Monday Morning!

Vintage Pyrex with Thrifted Dresses

anniescupboards 2 10:44 AM

My thrifted purses are getting crazy crammed in there.
I will have to find a way to store them properly.
I would love to have one of those closets
that look like a dressing room
with that moveable closet with remote control.
Ahhhhh.

I found a few goodies while thrifting the other day.
I kept coming across Pyrex I did not want to have.
I was happy to at least see Pyrex on the shelf.
It has been a while.
I picked up some fabric, doilys, comic books and Pyrex!

I am forever looking for other things than Pyrex.
I keep my eyes open for kitchen items I may need.
You never know what you will find.

I left the bowl there. I already have that set. I do not need another.
I call these my cereal bowls. I bought them. Square Flowers (verde)
and Woodland Pyrex.

These little glass salt and pepper shakers are so cute. I did not buy them.
I can see how easy someone can fall in love with them.
They are adorable.

I found this dress at the thrift store.
I paid $6 for it.
It is my new favorite dress.
I found this vintage feedsack dress.
The print is so retro.

I wanted to show off my Sister in Law's work.
She made this knitted purse. I think it is
pretty amazing. The details are stunning.
I keep bugging her to get a table
at one of the shows I do. I think she may be ready.
