Wood Shelf made over, no beer needed

I had this shelf for a long time. Its actually been in storage cause I have no place to keep it. I have been wanting to make it over for some time now. I was not sure on what to even use it for or what I could do to make it over. I really like that it says hand crafted one at a time. I just don't like the beer in there. haha. I tried to black it out and thought I would use chalk to write something in there. I did not like that look. I then tried to sand of the word beer. Nope not happening. I did not want to paint the whole shelf. I like the wood look. I wanted to keep it plain just improved a bit.

I decided to use my glue gun and glue some fabric yo-yos and vintage buttons to it. Now its perfect and ready to be used, but where? At my craft show of course. I don't know why I did not think of doing this last year. But I am so happy this year I tackled it/remembered.
