Some of my local thrifty stores have half off day on Wednesdays. Not all of them do. And not everything is half off usually a certain color tag or clothing only or housewares only. I paid full price for this set of red pillowcases. Its so vintagy yummy. I love them so much. I never have seen a red pair of vintage pillowcases. Never! This is my first time seeing/finding them locally. They are in perfect condition. I more than love. I adore.
I found this set of vintage sheets. I have this in a king size fitted only. I am going to put it on my bed today. I forgot I had this sheet. I found this set and it reminded me of it. I should have taken the pillowcase and kept it. Or maybe take the flat sheet and make myself 2 pillowcases. I can't. Its a perfect set that should be shown on someones bed. Its so bright. So pretty. No stain or holes. Like I don't even think this was used. I mean of course it was. Plus its very soft. You know that crisp feeling? This set feels like it. Again wishing I had a twin size bed. I tried talking hubby into it. He just laughed at me.
I found 2 vintage large needle punched piggys and a cross stitch piggy, completed. I love them. The needle punch is seriously a bunch of work there. I needle punch I know. My gosh. I have to make these into something. I am not sure yet. Something worthy of all the persons work. My gosh. I paid 25 cents each for them. I keep finding suitcases. I am not complaining. I love it when I find them. I love the vintage ones. You can do so many things with them. All of these I am going to change/alter in some way. I will not touch the insides. They are perfect and in great shape. I have such a good idea for these. I can't wait to play.
I found this vintage lamp. Its brand new. Yet it is vintage. Its from the early 60's. The brackets are taped to the back and so are all the parts you need to hang this up. Except a chain. You will need a chain or some light rope. I am going to offer this for sale in my Etsy shop. I know someone who is decorating their kitchen in this decor would love to find this.

I found this rainbow sheet. Its fitted. ITS KING SIZE! My size just wrong pattern. Did you have this in the 80's like I did? Its so awesome. Rainbows are totally in again. Do they ever leave? Hopefully never. Off to Etsy this one is going too.

I found a single blue pillowcase and below 2 pillowcases.
I found 3 soft as ever pillowcases. The sun came out of course in full force and was blocking how true and colorful these actually are. One of the sides of the pillowcases was falling apart. I am so happy I know how to sew and have a sewing machine. I quickly sewed it up and now its ready for the wash. I am not selling any of the pillowcases. I am a pillowcase hog. I know. I was very very lucky to find all these sheets today. My poor Etsy shop is empty.

I found a few yellow thrifty items today. I found this vintage Springfield yellow king size flat sheet and this corning ware dish with lid. This is my first kings size thrifty sheet I am keeping for my bed. I hardly ever find king size and if I do they are not really in the condition you want to put on your bed. I have this corning ware dish. I have the larger one. This one came with a lid. My other one has no lid. It was extra nice that it was 50% off too. So it only cost me $2.00.

I found this full size sheet set. Its really bright. Its pretty. The bottom fitted is torn on the edge that goes over one corner. Bummer. But not really. I try not to use really good sheets for crafting unless there is some really bad flaws. This qualifies as a bad flaw so its scrap. Fabric scrap. I am going to sell the top sheet and pillowcase on Etsy and keep the bottom sheet for my scrap piles. I should show you all the vintage sheets I keep for myself. I have a few that I am going to do something with. I am I really am going to do something with them. Even if its just lay them out and stare at them. If I get a really good sun day this week I will take them outside and give you a peek.Thrifty Yellows

Oh My I found a red Pyrex bowl today. Yes I did. It is not in perfect condition but its not very worn. I was really shocked to see these 2 piece just sitting there. The small blue bowl was there but I opted not to get it. It was very very worn and not worth it. Sometimes I get them when they are very worn out and use those to feed my cats with. But really not even worth it still. I am so excited. I am getting closer to completing my set. Oh and when I went to pay for these at the register they were cheaper than marked. (joy)! Thank you sweet lady at the register.

1950's and 60's books. Charlie Brown, Peanuts and a Hostess Cookbook. I go crazy for "hostess" cookbooks. Vintage ones in particular.

This is in great shape. I can't wait to use this. I have so many different crafts I am involved with that its really nice to sort them into boxes, cases, luggage, trunks. Anything cute for the eye to see just not the stringy mess inside.
Vintage Wamsutta & Cannon Pillowcases. Ok, I must say now these are all going on my bed. I finally am finding lots of pillowcases I am loving for myself. These are just perfect. I looked to see if there was any matching sheets. No such luck. But not all no luck, I did get the pillowcases after all. I must wash them asap. I want them on now.
The top piece has no marking that I can find yet. very Pyrex like. It does say oven proof and made in the USA, I will keep looking for a name. The bottom piece is a vintage Tupperware Jello mold. It really needs a good cleaning. But its in great shape. All the parts there too.
