72nd annual Orange Blossum Festival

I found another local craft show. 72nd annual Orange blossom Festival in Davie Florida. Feb. 28- March 1, 2009. This is a two day show. This show will be its 72nd year. WOW. How come I am just now finding out about this festival? I am thinking about signing up to be a vendor. There is a bunch going on at this festival. There will be a parade. Variety of Bands playing. A RODEO. (I haven't been to one since I was 11) There are going to have farmers selling their organic foods. FINE arts. Local Crafters. Plus there is gourmet foods and I think there is a LADIES COOK OFF going on. Hay rides, Lots of animals, pony rides, petting zoo. There will be an antique stage coach and wagon display. They are even having a contest for the best dressed parade float. There is no "country life" in South Florida. However Davie is. Its a small city that is packed full of acres of land and those who seek the country lifestyle, but live in a busy city. (oh did I tell you I would love to live there?)

Hey, we used to have a ranch in Davie FL. We had horses there. We used to go every weekend and sometimes a couple times during the week. We LOVED it so much. Did you ever go to the Hitching Post restuarant? We used to go there after a long day with our horses for chili. I LOVE Davie FL, you should do that show!
