Free Vintage Softies stuffed doll Pattern Scans

How cute is this vintage pattern? It's a 1946 vintage Simplicity Felt doll pattern. They called it "Softies for tiny tots". I have traced the patterns and then scanned them for you. I am sure you can do many things with this pattern. Break the rules and use fabric and do what you please. There is so many options and such little time to play.

It says the dolls are to be made out of felt. And you are to hand embroider the face and shoe details. I did not scan the pants or hat for the boy doll. Sorry. Page one contains the girl softie pattern and her top. Your to sew that top to the skirt. Which is on page 3. Page 3 also contains her hat. Page 2 is of the boy. You will need to take the pattern pieces of the dolls and place them on folded fabric or felt or paper. They were too large to fit on my scanner so this way was much easier to get into a pdf.

Pattern is found here.
Share photos of your completed vintage sofites with me. I want to see "yours".
Happy Retro Creating!

It looks cute. Thanks! I'd be interested in seeing some made. I don't think I can figure it out.
