I love Publix Grocery Stores!

I love shopping at Publix for lots of grocery items. They have the best bakery ever. I was recently turned on to coupon stacking. I didn't see that show everyone is talking about that TLC channel has. I just heard from a few on facebook. After the 4th person was into this and talking about it I had to see what it was all about. I use coupons. All the time. But I never knew you could use coupons like this. I learned how to stack coupons. I am very new to this so I am not really able to answer tons of questions and I still have a few myself. So this is what I did today. I went to the grocery store to get the items I needed for the week. I pretty much buy the same things all the time. I cook/make lunches and dinners 6 days a week. I made a list. I then went online to see if there are any online coupons for the items I am needing. Or like items. I always use Publix brand sour cream. It's just as yummy as some of the big name brands out there. Just not all the cost. Publix has a coupon in their flyer for this brand of sour cream. Friendship Brand. $1.00 off. I went online and they had a manufactures coupon for .55 cents.

The cost of the sour cream outta my pocket was .30 cents. What? Yes. Now that was way cheaper than store brand. You are able to stack coupons at Publix Grocery Stores. You really have to look into your area and find out which stores allow this. Stacking is using a store coupon plus using a manufacturers coupon on the same item. I have read and heard a few stores allow this. Food Lion, Target, CVS, Walgreens, Safeway, Albertsons. You have to research. Again I am not the person who knows. Google has been getting used overtime here. I have been searching all kinds of keywords and phrases having to do with coupons and stacking.

Here is another savings I was able to get. I had a manf. coupon for $1.00 off the price of 3 Birds Eye frozen veggies. Publix had a store coupon for $1.00 if you buy 2.

Publix has a sale on Birds Eye frozen veggies 50% off.

Some were regular priced at 2.39 some were more or less. I grabbed 2 of them priced at 2.39 each and 1 priced at 1.79. So half of that is 3.27. After my coupons = $1.27 paid out of my pocket.
Amazing!

I have been reading on blogs that talk about nothing but this. I have seen photos of some of the stuff people have been buying and paying very little or getting them for free. I also saw how there is a ton of researching and shopping to do in order to get these deals. It's all in the name of savings. Now I am not one to go out there and get all what they offer for free just cause you can get it for free. I am not into boxed food unless they are the healthy kind. I can not digest processed foods. Not to mention what they do to your waistline. (have you checked the sodium content on canned soup lately?)Pasta, rice, canned tomatoes, beans, tuna now we are talking. Yes those I buy. If I can find coupons for those. WOW. I will be so happy. I have been keeping my eyes on every ad now. Clipping away.

Make a list of non grocery items too. You know those are costly. Hair products, teeth products. You will be amazed what you can find out there. If your going to buy them anyhow. Might as well save a little. Sometimes get them for free!!
